It’s October…
There's a chill in the air, and fall is upon us!
Breast Cancer Awareness and Domestic Violence Awareness are on the minds & hearts of many. October marks an annual campaign from both causes around the world.
Breast Cancer Awareness helps raise attention and encourage early detection and treatment to prevent the disease. Domestic Violence educational events, community gatherings, and support groups all work towards providing support and safe space for survivors. Unfortunately, Domestic Violence was already an epidemic before COVID-19; with the pandemic and people staying home, the number of domestic violence cases has increased.
Like everyone else, we want to continue to do our part by raising awareness about them both. We've had some survivors come through the show as previous guests, and we wanted to share them with you.
