Real Chicks Rock! 10 Year Anniversary Celebration

Good Day, Good People...

Sunday, October 2nd, 2022, from 5:00 -9:00 pm, we celebrated Real Chicks Rock! 10th Anniversary. It was an amazing night; filled with joy, good music, good people, love, and laughter!

It took some time to take it all in; there were so many flowers and balloons, so I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone that came out to support us.

Thank you so much, Woodward and Park, for taking up space; the food and drink were excellent. People enjoyed their food so much.

Thank you to House In The Park for partnering with me again on another endeavor with the Coat Drive. Thank you so much, Ramon and Tracey. I appreciate everything that you guys do in wanting to help and working with me.

Thank you to the women we honored, Idalia Blopleh and Attallah Shabazz Pamoja. I pray that they continue to do incredible things in their communities, in something that drives them, gives them passion, and makes their heart beat. We love them for that!

Thank you to my photographer Todd Barren. He took so many great pictures.

Thank you to Ken Rye for helping, supporting, and co-hosting with me, ensuring everything was good at the door. And supporting my son who was working the door.

Thank you so much, Christopher Birt, for everything you've done. You're a wonderful son, and I love you so much.

Thank you, Zondra Davis, for the balloon decorations at the event space; they looked great.

Thank you to my DJ for the night, DJ Rasyrious; on the 1's and 2's, she blazed it, literally killing it with the music she provided to set the atmosphere on high.

Lastly, thank my assistant Shaun Williams for everything she's done for the past six years in helping me keep this brand going.

I am just so full of emotion and processing everything that has happened. I know the next time we will do this is in year fifteen. It's a lot of good work.

But we still have so much work to do between now and then. And I look forward to every single person who has supported me, came to the place, sent well wishes, and to those who wanted to be there because of things and circumstances. So I appreciate you and want to 'Thank You!

Until next time, you all be well; you take care and continue to #ROCKon
